First post
Hi there!
Well, this is my post here and I want to explain the reason I decided to create this blog.
Actually, it's gonna be more like a diary, but not with my dirty secrets, but my basic daily experiences. The reason why I created it is to improve my English. So everything I write here will be in English and the point is that I'm going to ask some English native person to check my grammar (when I get courage for that, because I'm sure I'll be too shy for that in the beginning).
Ok. Now you know what this blog is going to be, but why I had this idea?
Everything began with my boyfriend trip. Today, April 1st, he started a 6 weeks travel to Karlskrona, Sweden and I was wondering how it would be if I was, for 6 weeks, to a foreign country where no one speaks Portuguese (my native language).
However, there is a second reason: my father. He was telling me about the Canada immigration program and so I was searching about that today on Google and I got this YouTube channel (actually this link is not the YouTube channel link, it's o their website because I was lazy to look for the channel link and I had the website link just in another tab).
I won't lie saying I've never thought about the idea of moving abroad, but it was always only an idea. But then, after all my search, I realized that this is a possible dream and I can achieve this dream is I have a pretty good English, which I don't know if I do.
I think I'll do another posts talking in more details about this immigration program and about my boyfriend trip, but for now I end this post with this e-book (it gives tips to improve an advantage English). Actually, I'm not sure if I can call this an e-book, but anyway, there is a chapter about creating a diary to get used with grammar rules and improving the vocabulary. The final idea is, like I said at the beginning of the post, ask to a native English speaker to read and correct the texts. Even if I don't do this, I think it's a good way to start thinking more in English.
That's it for now.
Thank you.
Bye.
